Food Diary

Monday, 20 January 2014

It is difficult sometimes keeping track of what you are eating.
Especially if you are transitioning to eating healthy foods. Healthy foods mean you eat in larger quantities and thus making it harder to keep track of everything you are eating in a day. Not only this but meals are a combination of different foods and ingredients.

20/01/14:
Breakfast:
1 Egg Omlette with 1 Chestnut Mushroom

Lunch:
2 Rye Crackers with Iceberg Lettuce
Banana

Dinner:
Leftover White and Brown Rice Tikka Masala Curry
Boiled Chicken Thigh with Skin
Sweet Potato
Granola
Strawberries
Yoghurt

So the list looks extremely long, but the foods are all nutritious, so to feel guilty or to not feel guilty?
Sticking with a healthy nutritious diet has its benefits at the end of the day.
Just stick with it.

Diet

Monday, 13 January 2014

Embarking on a diet is extremely difficult. Especially for an individual like myself. One that has over indulged over all these years and has eaten whatever her heart desires. I'm not quite sure what happened to me, I suddenly just became infatuated with the high saturated foods, and all these little snacks here and there. However over this past year my weight has extremely yo-yoed and it is now time to take care of my weight once and for all. Not because I am at an unhealthy weight, but more for the aesthestic and personal reasons. Also because it becomes such a strain when individuals around you are constantly picking it out. So here goes.

Day 1:
Pre-Breakfast Snack: Cucumber
Breakfast: Omelette, Salmon, Lettuce
Snack: Cucumber
Lunch: Vanilla Chai Latte
Snack: Cucumber
Dinner: Sweet Potato, Chicken, Lettuce, Broccoli, Fish

Domino's

Thursday, 2 January 2014

My first love, my last love, my real love.

Nothing makes my mouth water as much as pizza. Who doesn't love pizza. Most people would say me, because I hate cheese with a passion, but pizza. There is nothing that will not stop me eating a slice. Unless it is margherita pizza then that is a different story. That's not pizza anymore, it is just dough, cheese and tomato sauce.

Domino's is especially my favourite place to order. Besides the extortinate prices for what it is, the food is just delicious. I mean I know everybody says eating one food can get boring, and I am sure it will eventually but for now I could eat it all day everyday. Considering you can have different toppings on it, and now a variety of crusts why wouldn't you?

My personal favourites are the full house and sizzler, although I have noticed as of recent they appear to have taken the full house off the menu. I'm not sure whether to be outraged or glad because it'll mean I order from them less and save money. However, full house was just a dream, a dreamy dreamy pizza. There's always different alternatives to my favourite though, for example the mighty meaty and the meatlicious. Which if you ask me I still wouldn't know the difference, but anything meaty will always be on my list of possible consumption.

Overall, despite having ordered too much pizza for myself I have managed to pace myself over with the buy 1 get 1 free deal and it has lasted me for a good 2 days for the price of £13.99.
